I began coaching youth football back in 1994, before I had kids. I coached for the Plano Sports Authority and was the Hurricane's Assistant Head Coach / Offensive Coordinator of the Plano Sports Authority's (PSA) Coaching Staff of the Year in 1994. I coached my oldest son's team many years in Arvada Colorado. He played for the YMCA and Arvada Midget Football Association, which is part of the Jeffco Midget Football Association. I was also a member of the AMFA Coaches Committee. In 2009 I was the offensive line coach for the Keller Hurricanes Junior Select team with the Keller Youth Association in Keller, Texas
I am currently the Defensive Coordinator with the TSOF Keller Raiders Select youth football club in Keller, Texas.
Since everyone shares their records, as of 1/31/2009, I am 40-14 for combined Flag Football and Tackle Football and 26-12 for tackle only. I have made it to the playoffs in every season that I have coached football. In 1972 and 1973, as a Pee Wee football player, I played on two undefeated Houston TX, City Championship Teams. I am coaching youth football today because of my Pee Wee Coach John Lewis, Head Coach for the Dad's Club YMCA Spring Branch Bulldogs.
Also, if you would like me to review your youth football book, CD, website, or DVD, please contact me for more details. Please email me at CoachParker at eParkers dot org.
